Our Totnes cycle hire shop is in the middle of the Cycle trails to Dartington Hall Estate and Cider press centre and Ashprington and Sharpham Estate vine yards in the other direction.

Bike hire is available from our Totnes shop. Hiring a bike is a great way of exploring the local areas of Totnes, Dartington, Staverton, Ashprington, Tuckenhay or Bow Creek. We also have great knowledge of Cycle paths and Bridleways for you to explore. We stock a range of Cycle maps for Mountain and road riding in the South Hams and Dartmoor National park.

Places to visit on the cycle trails

Dartington Cider press centre
A level 2.0 miles to the Dartington Cider press centre. Ride beside the River Dart and Dartington Water wheel and arrive at the Cider press centre. A range of lovely shops and restaurants.

Dartington Hall & Gardens
A slightly up hill half mile private road to Dartington Hall & Gardens. Like scene from Harry Potter. [try a get a look in the Great Hall]. Explore the lovely gardens and refresh at the White Hart Inn with fantastic local produce.

Sharpham Estate vine yard and Cheesery
A short level ride through Totnes to the cycle trail. Then a hilly off road route through open farm land with great views of the river Dart. 3 miles to Sharpham Estate for guided tours of the vineyard and finishing with wine tasting. Veiwing of the cheese making. Rosieís Cafe serving fantastic local food and drinks.

Durant Arms Village Pub
The Durant arms in the village of Ashprington has great charm and character with local produce menu to suit all.
